HIBS Tokenomics
It's important that the shares of Hibernian FC are distributed amongst as many fans as possible. For this reason, we are having an exclusive in person event to distribute 10% of the HIBS shares for free amongst our loyal supporters.
On January 31st 2026, we urge all Hibernian FC supporters that would like free shares in Hibs, to make their way to the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Fans will need to buy a ticket on the official Holyrood Palace website to gain entry to the grounds. Once you are in the grounds, please form an orderly queue and wait patiently to receive your HIBS shares.
Matthew and Mary Stuart from the new board of directors will be there from 9am distributing shares to Hibernian FC supporters on a first come, first serve basis. Fans that arrive first will be compensated the most, so it's advised to queue overnight to avoid disappointment.
The first 10 fans to arrive will receive 1 million HIBS shares each, on the condition that you help to distribute the HIBS shares for the entire day, until we stop distributing tokens at 3:30pm.
If you don't want to help distribute the shares, you will receive the same reward as fans 11-100, and you can just leave straight away after receiving your shares. 10m
Fans 11-100 to arrive will receive 100,000 HIBS shares each. 9m
Fans 101-500 to arrive will receive 50,000 HIBS shares each. 20m
Fans 501-1000 to arrive will receive 20,000 HIBS shares each. 10m
Fans 1001-2000 to arrive will receive 10,000 HIBS shares each. 10m
Fans 2001-5000 to arrive will receive 5000 HIBS shares each. 15m
Fans 5001-10,000 to arrive will receive 1000 HIBS shares each. 5m
Fans 10,000-20,000 to arrive will receive 100 HIBS shares each. 1m
Fans 10,000-100,000 to arrive will receive 10 HIBS shares each. 900k
Total HIBS shares available on 31st January 2026 = 70,900,000 HIBS
HIBS shares remaining for our special secret suprise announced at 3:31pm on January 31st at Holyrood Palace - 29,100,000 HIBS
This is a one time event, and will NEVER happen again. Please plan to take the day off work to avoid disappointment.

10% of the supply will be used for the Happy Hibee Half Time Draw for the next 100 years
100,000,000 HIBS shares distributed over 19 home games per season, over the next 100 years.
We will have 5 winners per game. The 5 winners will share around 52,631 HIBS shares per game. The distribution will be:
1st Place - 44% - 23,157 HIBS Shares
2nd Place - 31% - 16,315 HIBS Shares
3rd Place - 16% - 8,421 HIBS Shares
4th Place 6% - 3,157 HIBS Shares
5th Place - 3% - 1,578 HIBS Shares
For big games, we will raise the shares per game and balance it out by reducing the winnings in regular games.
