The Bank of England have allegedly been printing billions of pounds, and using their proxies in Scotland to buy up all the Scottish property, that's why no one can afford a house, even highly skilled professionals.
Our new CEO Sibby Hibby has noticed the opportunity, and has decided to launch Hibs Bank to help Hibs fans during the current cost of living crisis. By issuing our own currency, we our fans will finally be able to afford the rapidly increasing prices at the football, and we can use this currency to create a stadium comparable with the old firm.
In the beginning, the Hibs Bank note will just be sold for collectors, so we can stay on the right side of the law. This is initially just a note for fans that want to collect a cool new banknote, featuring our best players throughout history. Once we finally get the board to give up, we can start accepting the Hibs Bank note for all purchases at Hibernian Football Club.
If we can successfully take over the club with 100% fan ownership, we will be able to use the Hibs Bank notes to buy shares in Hibs, merchandise from the club store, matchday & season tickets, and food & beverages on match day & everything else we need from the club. If the bank note is very popular, it's likely we can push to have it accepted throughout Leith and Edinburgh as a GBP alternative.
